Minister Barry Faure began his first day in office by conducting a tour of the Ministry to meet staff across the various divisions. He was accompanied by the Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ian Madeleine.

The tour concluded with a meeting held with the management team, where discussions focused on coordination, strategic direction, and service delivery.
